2016 Philippine Elections: A Reaction to the Current Potential Presidential Picks

I've been away for quite some time. I've been quiet. But I just could not stay silent when the issue is constantly mentioned to me over and over again.

First off, Jejomar Binay. He is the current Vice President of The Republic of the Philippines. He has been hounded by issues of corruption from his stint in the City of Makati up until the present time. I think that the only thing that these people are doing are making him more popular. It is no wonder why he still continues to campaign and push for the Presidency.

Next is Duterte. He is a good candidate, in my opinion. But what he has done for Davao cannot be said to be applicable for the whole Philippines. It is without doubt that the former President Joseph Ejercito Estrada did good for San Juan, but it cannot be said that he has done the same for the Philippines.

Next is Joseph Estrada. I believe that he could have done better if he was permitted to finish his term. But, many groups would eventually question his candidacy.

On Grace Poe. She cannot yet be president. She has not yet proven herself.

On Chiz Escudero, he is a good candidate but I believe that he is not a winnable candidate. He doesn't have the resources to win as President in the Philippines, though he may have to skills of a good President.

On Mar Roxas. He doesn't have the personality needed to be a President. He may have been groomed and trained to be a possible Presidential Candidate, but he just doesn't seem to be a strong candidate for the Presidency.

Lastly, Bongbong Marcos. He is a good potential candidate but I still cannot see the Former President Ferdinand Marcos in him. Though I am hoping that if he is given the chance he would emulate the very same governance that the Former President had, save for the EDSA Revolution and all.

Yes there are a lot more which i may not have mentioned. But these names have been in the recent news. Whoever you are voting for, please vote wisely.
